六岁开始学画画，一直到十八岁AEP结业为止。大学时和理科做朋友，直到最后觉得数学最知心。按奈不住狂野的心，大三还没毕业就到电视台应征BJ，虽幸运考上但还是尊重父母，乖乖在荣誉班毕业后才加入。自此，和电视新闻结下不解之缘 - 编辑、剪片、采访或跑腿，有的没的都试过。2000年开始主播/主持人生涯，新闻稿继续写、采访继续做。四年前再次驿马星动，决定一边工作，一边念书。讨厌一成不变的个性，预料中选了从来没碰触过的科目 - 经济学和政治学组合的国际关系。一季一科的念，终于以蜗牛般的速度完成硕士课程。如今，工作还是天天做，天天期待生命中未知数可能带来的惊喜。

And shawn, thanks for your suggestion but I guess I am a “wordy” person. In terms of blogging, I find it easier to produce words than pictures, especially good pictures.

Hi 素华! I came to know your blog from xin.sg!

I’m just like you, a wordy person too haha. After some “protests” by my readers, I learned to put photos up, which can take as much time as me writing half of my post!

But then, with a photo in a post, it can depict our message better and it looks visually pleasing too.

Please continue blogging and share more insights with us on news production behind the scenes, will you?

我想請問妳，如果我想寻找隔一天的新闻，应該往哪兒找呢？我想知道関於一則建屋局借贷的新闻。是関於這项借贷計劃不大受公众接受的報告，現在袛有一间銀行还有這項服務。這則新闻应該是在27/03/07或者28/03/07晚间11点的时候播出的。我在“新動網”裡找不到，能不能請妳帮我找找？

每每在国外时，都很热衷于观看凤凰卫视，CCTV等等的电视节目。对于他们所制作的节目常常让我陶醉不已…。主题的深度、切入手法、起承转合，相当有水准。
在这里，我经常觉得很失落。
有一次，我病了，闲赋在家几天，陪伴我的尽是些让我在百般无聊中更添空虚的节目……。我想起的尽是吴小莉、鲁豫等铿锵自信的声音、深度有力的报导。
我绝无恶意，但就这样你们满足了吗？

Well, Ms Tung, I started like you in year 2000 when you were in long hair, at first, I didn’t give you any kind of impression, until year 2000 when I saw your photoshoots from I-weekly. I guess that was your first magazine photoshoot if I still kinda remember. I hope you can post some magazine photoshoots that you’ve been taken before if you don’t mind, and I love your smile very much, you look even more cute when you smile with your teeth. By the way I am also very much a fan of a former colleague of yours: Miss Chua Ying 蔡萦 I was very sad when she left and went to the States with her husband. Is there any news of her? I heard that she had returned at the end of last year is there news? A word or two will be most appreciated. Oh by the way Miss Ng Siew Leng is quite a funny person given how happy she was to receive the mooncake box! Hahaha! Wish you success in your endevours ^_^

我希望能借次机会向新闻工作者了解心中一些的疑问。。。请问新闻内容是根据那些准则去篇写的？我本人认为世事是很难去给一个定义，许多事件往往都能以不同的角度，不同的文化背景去评估以产生不同的故事。是否新闻是根据普片观众的价值观而制定的呢?

我想新闻篇写是一个非常艰辛的过程，要顾及的层面很多，观众的心理接受度，普片社会认同的价值观。。。是这样吧？
